                                Adding Netscape
                                 By AOLwizard

        Why would you want to add Netscape?

        Because unlike the AOL WWW browser you can see www pages faster,
        cleaner, see Java script, Java, and its better.

        The version of Netscape that you need is Netscape version 3.0
        the 16 bit version.  If you use Netscape 3.0 32 bit version it will
        not work.

        Now install Netscape, after doing that you have to go to Keyword
        "Winsock". Download the latest version of Winsock and put it in the
        windows directory. Now to use Netscape just login AOL minimize AOL and
        then run Netscape you should then be able to run Netscape.

        You must have master.aol to view invokes.  There also is
        various versions to master.aol one for AOL v3.0 and 2.5.  Also
        you might need a higher access level like a OH to view some

        IRC is Internet Relay Chat, why would you want to get to IRC?

        - multiple transfers
        - you can be in multiple rooms
        - use real bots (kick users off)
        - talk to unlimited users in rooms (300+ in warez alone)

                                The Easy Way

        The easy way to get to IRC is by downloading Ohell 96 and clicking
        on IRC, AOHell automatically has a version of MIRC 3.2 installed.
        If you need help at the commands then see the help file in MIRC
        which has a pretty good introduction to IRC.

        Now Download the latest version of MIRC which is 4.7. now get all
        the specs from MIRC 3.2 and put them in 4.7 till MIRC 4.7 works. The
        reason why the upgrade is so that others can't ping the hell out of
        you causing you to get kicked off. mIRC 4.7 32 bit will not work.
                                    Note

        Check with your AOL Massmailers to see what rooms are good, because
        usually you will not get any respect/responses from any rooms like
        #Warez96 and so on. Some rooms that are excellent to check out are
        #UPSS and #TEK which are run by AOLers.

                              1000+ Mail trick

        To have more mail you put all the mail into the download manager.
        After doing that you can delete everything in your mail box and
        getting another MM.  Your 5oo added your saved downloaded files
        can equal up to 1000+.

                             Finding Warez rooms

        AOL closed down the latest warez room or you want to find them? For
        some unknown reason AOL dousn't close down the private rooms Gif,
        jpeg, or carding. Now gif and jpeg are rooms where you usually find
        porn, so by asking a few people who are in the rooms, you can find
        the latest warez rooms.  The same goes for carding except the room is
        for people who say that they card marchandize and will sell for a
        small fee. The products are mostly computer parts etc *MOST* of the
        users here know where the latest warez rooms are.

                                Telneting
	
		DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING A TELNET CLIENT

	You can find good Telnet software on AOL at keyword: Telnet or 
	keyword: Winsock Applications. Some of the Telnet programs you'll 
	find on AOL are Anzio Lite, Ewan, CommNet, and WinTelnet. 
	These program differ in look but all do pretty much the same 
	thing--allow you to log on and use a computer on the Internet. 
	Always make sure you download the correct software for the 
	version of Windows you are running (Windows 3.1 or Windows 95). 

	To use Telnet on AOL, you must first download and install the 
	Winsock.dll file to your c:/Windows directory and restart your 
	computer.  (You'll find instructions for downloading Winsock at 
	keyword: Winsock.)

	To download Telnet software:

		* Go to AOL keyword: Telnet and click on Go to 
		  Winsock Applications or Net Clients.

		* Select the software you want to download.  You can 
		  click Read Description to learn about the software's 
		  capabilites, or you can click Download Now or Download 
		  Later to copy it from AOL into the Download directory 
		  in your main AOL file directory.

	To install Telnet software: 


		* Run the INSTALL.EXE (or similarly named) program, 
		  which will create a permanent directory for your Telnet 
		  software and copy all the files you need into that 
		  directory.  It will also create a Windows program icon, 
		  which you can either leave in the default program group, 
		  or move or copy to another group of your choice (such as 
		  "Internet" or "Communications"). You can keep the original
		  file and any unzipped individual files in the temporary 
		  directory, or you can delete them together with the 
		  temporary directory.  Everything you need to run your 
	          Telnet software will be copied by the INSTALL program into
	          the permanent directory.

	Note:  You can also set your preferences to automatically unzip the 
	file when you log off AOL.  From the Members menu, select Set 
	Preferences, click the Download button, and check the appropriate 
	boxes.

	To run Telnet software using AOL:

	* You can use Telnet software only if you've first installed Winsock,
	  following the instructions in the Winsock FAQ at keyword:  Winsock.

	* Log onto AOL if have haven't already. With Winsock and the Telnet 
	  software properly installed, just double-click the icon for your 
	  Telnet software.

	* Your Telnet client runs parallel to AOL--you can switch between 
	  Telnet and AOL using normal Windows keystrokes, ALT-TAB or CTRL-
	  ESC.

        Want free anonymous e-mail thats not your aol account?  Download Juno
        which offers free e-mail put your fake info, get the local access
        number and fill out the forms and your set.  Extremely easy to use
        and password protected. requirements are that you have windows.

                        Keeping your account lasting longer

        - use a cc number that has all the number, with that your account
          should last at least 3 months.
        - Don't phish.
        - Don't cuss etc in public rooms.
        - Fill out the info of your account so that if someone checks the
          info of your account it looks real like put as your hobbies
          fishing etc, your occupation student etc.
        - when going into warez rooms go into something like cold ice2 if
          it's empty you know that cold ice has a CATwatcher waiting.
        - Never go into the 1st wares room name see above.
	- Have aol generate your name or make a name thats not in 
	  lamer writing for example: ThIs Is LaMeR WrItiNG
        - Cancel the reminder bill to be sent. (check out the invoke for
          that option)

        - spamm the hell out of them (screws there mail)
        - report them to TOS (screws there account and possible kicked out)
        - tell them to go to private room warez (they get a AOL warning)
        - Mail bomb them 
        - im bomb them  (logs them off aol)
        - with the new version of AOL 3.0 you find them where ever they are

        Because of AOL little signs on the bottom of every screen it is
        relatively hard to phish now.  The chance of getting another account
        account is the death of the account that you are using and getting
        reported to TOS. Phishing is now pretty much dead on AOL as I under
        stand it, through if you must stick to X-zones v5 Super Phisher.

        Try to look at the sex/age checks to find small kids online etc and
        do not phish whole rooms.

        The reason why I made this is because there are too many lamers on
        AOL who don't know jack shit.  There are too many AOLers who post
        on alt.2600 who are screwing everyone else up. If you have a question
        about hacking see the 2600 FAQ 1st and then ask.  Now about tracing
        on AOL, people don't understand how hard it is to trace on a 25 line
        ring down number, having various users logging in and out. Do you
        think that Bell and AOL is going to sit there waiting for a little
        kiddie?  I don't think so. I hope this little txt I did in 5 min
